The UWM Project Management Certificate program is a noncredit professional development certificate offered through the UWM School of Continuing Education. UWM is an Authorized Training Provider with the Project Management Institute. UWM's certificate consists of courses that teach vocabulary, skills, background, and techniques needed to succeed as a project manager in predictive and agile environments. NOTE: This program will offer a mix of Live Online and In-Person Sessions. Students must complete 98 hours of training by choosing from the list of Core and Elective courses (at least 5 courses must be Core and up to 2 from Electives.) To receive the PMP or CAPM credential, students must meet eligibility requirements, apply to PMI, and pass the test through PMI. There are separate costs for testing, book, membership paid to PMI. Participants who complete this certificate program may pursue the PMP® or CAPM® credentials exams offered by the Project Management Institute (PMI). To receive the PMP® or CAPM® credential, students must meet eligibility requirements, apply to PMI, and pass the test through PMI. There are separate costs for testing and membership/textbook paid to PMI. To prepare for the PMP exam, participants should take the UWM PMP® Boot Camp which is a 35 hour course and counts towards your certificate as a Core offering

A full refund is issued to program participants if the School of Continuing Education cancels a program for any reason. If a participant withdraws at least 10 business days prior to the start of a program, a 100% refund will be issued. If a participant withdraws less than 10 business days prior to the program start, a one-time transfer of fees to any currently available program is allowed; otherwise, the participant will receive a refund minus a 20% administrative fee.

PLEASE NOTE:

Most employers are required to report certain employment information to the State of Wisconsin, including quarterly wage information for their employees. If a "0" shows for any of these outcomes, it means that none of the students' information could be verified.

MAKING SENSE OF THE EMPLOYMENT OUTCOMES:

"Average quarterly wages" means the total wages earned in a three-month period by all students who completed the program ("completers"), divided by the total number of completers.

"Median quarterly wages" means all the completers' quarterly wages are placed in order from lowest to highest and then we identify the student's wages in the middle. This information is provided because averages can be greatly influenced by really high and low wage earners.

To estimate monthly wages, divide the quarterly wages by three.
